Is Enough 6 hours of sleep or not? Please answer?!


Question: Is Enough 6 hours of sleep or not!? Please answer!?
Quite frankly, I feel satisfaction from sleeping 6 hours (age 19) i feel Different than other teens (whom sleep longer like 9 hours sleeping) !. but in your opinion is 6 hours sleeping is enough for me !?!?!?

When I was you age, (I'm 32 now) I used to get by on the same amount of sleep!. But see the thing about sleep is that it varies!. The more activites that you do during the day will determine how much sleep you will need!. While if all you did was sit around and the only activity that you did all day was to sit and watch television, than you shouldn't need too much sleep since your body was already in a sort of resting state as it was!. But in the end it all just comes down to the individual!. I need to sleep at least ten hours now to feel rested!. But then again I work twelve hour night shifts!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Well, I think what is the most important thing about sleep is having a routine - go to bed at a certain time, wake up at a certain time and do this every day, even on weekends!. Usually, six hours of sleep is not enough and eight hours would be much better!. It's not like you can do all that much about it though!. I mean, you can't force yourself to sleep longer!. If you find that six hours of sleep is enough for you to be revitalized, then you may as well continue sleeping for six hours!. You can always try to put in more sleep time, but if you keep waking up and can't fall back asleep stay at six hours!. Again, it is important to have a routine so that you can stay healthy!. I myself, a sixteen year old, get between one and twelve hours of sleep!. I have no routine and am tired all the time!. Though, I personally feel best when I get around six hours as well!. Anything under that, I remain extremely tired!. Anything more makes me feel like sleeping even more and makes me feel sluggish!. It is not good to oversleep or undersleep!. So, if you feel fine with six hours, then stay like that!. You don't want to make yourself oversleep or undersleep!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Your body will tell you if you are getting enough sleep or not!. If you go to sleep when your body tells you its tired then you should wake up when your body decides its had enough sleep!. If you are feeling extra tired, go to bed a bit earlier and get some extra sleep!. Listen to what your body is telling you!. :) xWww@Answer-Health@Com

No, adults need 8 hours and those who say they sleep a few hours actually nap during the day which counts toward the total number of hours slept!.
Unless you are napping during the day you should see a doctor and ask his advice!.
When I was your age I slept for 12 hours sometimes!.
Think of yourself as having a battery - it needs 8 hours at least to recharge otherwise it won't work properly and you may develop an illness!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

No matter how you may feel 6 hours of sleep is not enough for anybody!. Not enough sleep causes mental deficits that you don't even realize!. You are unable to work up to your potential even though you think you can!. It is unhealthy for the mind and body!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I sleep 6 hours a night, I am the same as you, I find that a perfect amount for me but i am usually not in bed till around 2am Lol!. But yeah, 6 hours, In my honest opinion is fine if you look after yourself during the day, Like!. Good diet etc!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
