Question: How long till you can sleep after seeing a dead body!?
Umm today i saw a man that got burnt alive, and i cant sleep at all, i just lie thinking about it!. i was just wondering how long it takes before i should be able to sleep by myself again!?

What you saw is a traumatic thing, your gonna have trouble sleeping!! If it last longer than a night or two go and see a doctor, they might give you some sleeping pills or anti anxiety tablets!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
I have seen a few bodies!. The first was my father, at his funeral!. While I was very sad, I was able to sleep!. Another was a distant relative by marriage, that was no trouble at all!. But, like you, I was disturbed by seeing someone burned, in a car accident that I passed by!. I was able to sleep, but the sight is something I still think about, many years later!.
As a Christian, I believe that we will live on after our death!. It was just a simple transition for your neighbour, so no big deal for him!. To those of us left behind, it certainly can be!. But, if you have faith, take solace that he is in the hands of God now!. You might also ask Him to help you with understanding, and with sleeping!. That could help!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

What alot of people don't realise is that we have control over our mind, not our mind over us!. You need to except this has happened to you then release it, You can use affirmations and think about nice things to control your mind!. Once you get your mind to stop thinking about what has happened to you then you will be able to sleep!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
I think you should ask go long is it before you can sleep after seeing a horrible, grizzly sight which is almost inherently traumatic!. Seeing a dead body isn't necessarily all that bad!. sometimes it's actually peaceful if the person had been sick a long time!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

that's a hard one!.!.i see death on a daily basis due to my job is in hospice work!.!.it will take time just try as hard as you can to believe he is not in pain now and see who he was not who you saw!.!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

there is no set time since an experience like that effects everyone differently!. if you're still having trouble i would consult a therapist!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
