I have been suffering from strange symptoms that hasruined my life from past two months!
There are so many symptoms so I won't bother writing down!.
Have had many blood tests, Stress Test etc!. and everything comes up fine!. All doctors I went to have diagnosed me with Depression and Anxiety!.
I never believed until I talked to my uncle (mom's brother) who experienced almost same symptoms at my age and was diagnosed with Depression!.

depression/anxiety is in your genetics, i've had both my whole life, i get it from my mother's side, my mom has been on anti depressants about 10 years now and her mother was put in a mental ward before and then my grandmother's mother also always had problems with depression and my uncle had post traumatic stress disorder and my mom and me both have depression anxiety and we both get panic attacks, yes it runs in families and females are more susceptible to it but males can also get it!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
I was reading some of your other questions to look at your other symptoms!.
You seem to consistently have a disoriented feelings before you took the benzos for anxiety!.
Your first symptoms was a ear/sinus infection!. You need to go to an ear, nose and throat specialist and get a CT scan of your sinuses and ears!. Do you always get an earache or feel dizzy in cold weather!?
If you haven't had your back wisdom teeth out, get them removed as this can mimic ear pain!. An infection can also make you disoriented!.
Get your iron levels checked!. They never check guys!. If its low, you will feel light headed and have concentration problems!. You will also feel anxious!. Don't take it on your own as too much is bad for your heart!.
Food intolerance run in families!. This can make you lightheaded and have heart palputations!. Make a food diary!.
If you snore, get a sleep study for sleep apnea!. Not getting a deep sleep can make you feel disoriented!.
My bet is that you have some ear!./sinus problem!. Not an infection, but something like ear congestion or sinus congestion!.
BTW, depression runs in families with high cholesterol and high blood pressure!. The arteries narrow and blood flow to the brain is reduced making you deppressed!. Also, some families have a history of thyroid problems!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

i think what you have asked is a basic question!. what you wanted to know however is do we think you may have it or get it!. though it is hereditary , there's nothing saying a healthy happy person will become"infected" so to speak with this awfull illness!. it is treatable!. if you feel you may be having symptoms of depression you should see your medical Professional!. talk to your family and also remember everyone goes through some type of sadness in some point in there lifetime!.try not to dwell on this, it may be nothing!. good luck!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
Most definitely!. I can speak from experience- My mother has it, her sister had it, and now I have it!. In some ways, it is easier because my mom is very understanding!. As soon as I felt the symptoms she knew what was going on, and didn't waste any time taking me to the doctor!. I am pretty grateful for that!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
Yes depression can run in the family!. It is best to go to a doctor to get checked out!. He might put you on medication!. Check it out for your own health!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
