Why is winter so depressing????and so dang long?!

I live in Montreal, Canada and I hate winter too!. I hate it!. Winter is from like late October until March or even April!. Right now it's - 20 here and freezing cold!. Winter is depressing because there's no sun and it gets dark so early and it's really depressing!. I'm counting the days until winter is done!. I hate everything about winter also!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Winter is depressing because a lot of the time it's a dreary day and some times raining with little to no sunshine!. People tend to be happier in the summer because the sun gives their body vitamin D which helps a lot!. I hate hate hate the winter!. I am from Alabama and I couldn't imagine living somewhere with only 3 months of summer!. I like the only 3-4 months of winter better!. If you are finding yourself depressed maybe take some vitamin D pills to help ya!. You can also get full spectrum lights and sit in front of them for a while!.!.!.they tend to help people!. Or just do what I'd do, and that's move south! :-)Www@Answer-Health@Com

You probably have what is known as SAD, seasonal affective disorder, winter blues!. Some people need regular exposure to sunlight for their mental health!. You might want to get some full spectrum lights and sit in front of them for a couple of hours a day!. It will help you to feel better!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I call it seasonal depression!. i get depressed during the winter!. its absolutely gorgeous at night but when its cloudy and cold!.!.!.or even during the day if its cold out!.!.!.idk I just get emotional and depressed!. quite a few people have it!. i cant wait for the snow to be gone and for winter to be over!Www@Answer-Health@Com

I live in Saskatchewan, Canada!.
What I do in the winter is either
a) go some place warm!. (in my dreams xD)
b) snuggle up in a warm blanket
