Is Paxil the best SSRI for Social Phobia?!

Question: Is Paxil the best SSRI for Social Phobia!?
I know different SSRIs work better/worse for different people but I was wondering if its actually true that Paxil works really well for social phobia!.

I'm on my 5th week of 20mg Prozac and it doesn't seem to help social phobia very well!. Of course I'm going to talk to my doctor about switching but I was wondering what a first hand experience opinion is like!.

~~~also, has any1 ever taken adderallXR or vyvanse while on an SSRI!?Www@Answer-Health@Com
i was on paxil for social anxiety!. i despised the side effects, i was completely flat and felt no emotion, i would talk to girls and feel nothing , like not even good!. but i have to admit that it worked very well for social anxiety!. i was not the least bit anxious!. i could initiate a conversation with anyone i wanted to!.!.!.!.but the problem is that i absolutely didnt care about anything i said, so i ended up offending some people, even though i didnt mean it in a bad way!. but it defeintly helped!.
i havent taken adderal or vyvanse, but i took concerta while on SSRI, and it worked very well to balance some of the negative SSRI side effects, such as low libido and concentration, and lethargy!. it was pretty good for me!.!.!.!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
Social Phobia/Social Anxiety disorder, cannot be treated on it's own with only an SSRI!. PAXIL is the one most commonly used for it, but each medication works differently for each person!. PAXIL is an anti-anxiety drug, so it can help cut down on the symptoms!. However, it is most commonly treated with other classes of medications, as well as therapy!. It does depend on the extent of your anxiety level though, if it is mild to moderate, PAXIL could work very well for you!. I have never heard of PROZAC helping social anxiety!.
ADDERALL & SSRIs work fine together!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
