Cold turkey withdrawal from Klonopin is DANGEROUS and can result in seizure and death!.!.!.

!.5 mg is a hefty dose as Klonopin is a very powerful drug!.

It's best to taper using a compounding pharmacist and getting off at no more than 10% of current dose or slower!.!.!.

Look at the Heather Ashton manual for great advice and well researched documentation on withdrawal from benzodiazepines!. (klonopin is a benzo)

my own experience with withdrawal is being chronicled here where I'm actually switching to Valium (as Ashton suggests for some people) because I simply could not get off the klonopin!.

The best thing you can do now is reinstate the drug and stabilize and then do the withdrawal safely, slowly and responsibly!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

You are in benzodiazepine withdrawal!. The symptoms you are experiencing are normal after discontinuing use of the drug Clonazepam(Klonopin)!. You have become physically dependent on clonazepam, not addicted!.

You need to understand that benzodiazepine withdrawal can be fatal, because it is very much like alcohol withdrawal!. Keep taking the clonazepam, and go to your doctor immediately!. He/she will make sure that you can discontinue the drug properly, while experiencing few withdrawal symptoms!.

DO NOT STOP taking it abruptly, this can be FATAL in some cases!

Go to the hospital if you need to!

You may be experiencing PAWS(Post Acute Withdrawal Syndrome)!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I take Klonopin too!. And I have been really OCD!. Did you quit suddenly or did you taper off dosage under a doctor's care!? I urge you to maybe go back on and then taper off!. Sudden withdrawals can cause really bad things!.!.even seizures!. I think your symptoms are totally normal though!. Any drug even nicotine and alcohol causes the body to go wacky after it is stopped!. Headaches are very common!.
Also go to amazon!.com and type in OCD and there are so many books to help OCD!. Good luck!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

the doctor was suppose to detox you a little bit at a time!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
