Question: Does my fiance look dodgy to you!?
My parents aren't happy with the man i am engaged to!. I have been with him 3 years and yes he has been in trouble with the law before but he is cleaning his ways!. I am 25 years old and my parents are still trying to tell me what to do!. They say he is not the man for me and that he looks like scum!. It is possible for people to change!.
What do you think!?

I think that when you look at a picture many people will automatically stereotype a person!. Its a natural human reaction that happens until they get to know the person!. If you are happy, he is happy and you both work well together then who cares what external people think!.

If he's starting to do better, then I would say yes, he can change because he's already doing it!. But, on the other hand, you have consider his age and maturity!. If he hasn't already done something with his life, or even tried, chances are he's probably not going to!. If he's been this way for awhile now, people tend to live what they know!.
Just try talking to him and support him, let him feel like he's not pressured to do anything!. (unless he procrastinates) Make sure you let him know how happy you are for him even when he does the smallest things to boost himself further!.
I was in the exact same situation you are, and I stuck it through and tried that, and my boyfriend did actually get a really good job and is doing much better!Www@Answer-Health@Com
