Question: Can Chest irritation be Anxiety related !?

I have this wierd chest pian/irritation that come and goes!.
Sometimes my left arm goes numb!
I am suffering from really bad Anxiety Disorder since I had Panic Attack in Last November have had several since then!.
Final Doctor have put me on Combo of Paxil and Xanax!.
I have had Stress Test, 2 D-Dopler and 24 hour holter monitor last week and all tests came back fine!.
My Doctor said its due to Anxiety but I am still scared!.
Non-Smoker !. No History of Heart Disease in Family, but history of Anxiety issues!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

it's your anxiety, the same thing happens to me, i had all those tests too plus more tests and blood work, everything came back perfect, i also had ekgs, x rays, i was hooked up to a heart monitor, i've been to the hospital, the er, 6 times in the last 30 days and i'v had two doctor appointments too, there is nothing psychically wrong with me, i freak out because i have a long history of heart problems on my father's side and my mother's side, but also, depression and anxiety run in both sides too, my heart is perfect, i always think i'm having a heart attack so i go to the er, everytime they hook me up to machines and they assure me my heart is perfect and that i'm fine, i still get really scared though, just like you, also when i get my panic attacks my arm also goes numb and i start to shake and i get really weak and dizzy and it feels like my breathing slows but my heart will be racing, it's terrifying, i know how you feel, my doctor put me on zoloft, 50 mgs once a day!.

The same thing happened to my fiance!. He presented with chest pain, fainted, weakness!. We phoned for an ambulance!. He was in the hospital overnight for observation!. He had similar tests as you did, all results came back normal!. He was given atavan for anxiety!. He has had anxiety and panic attacks in the past but this one was, by far the worst!.
I really think that you are fine!. Try and listen to the doctors when they tell you aren't in any other danger!. If you feel anxious in the near future, I have cut and pasted a site that might help!.

yes!.!.!.it sounds like anxiety to me!.!.!.im goin through the sameee stuff!.!.and my chest is always tight!.
anxiety can cause anything!.!.!.especially if you keep thinking about it!.

It sounds like you are having a heart attack!. It could also be kidney failure or lung cancer!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
