Question: Mental hospitals!? What do I expect!?
Well I'm due to go to one apparently!.
Anyone have any experiences to share with me!?
I'm pretty freaked out honestly!.

I'm not clear on why I have to go but it's for some kind of "psychotic" thing i think!? ugh i dont know!. (just if you were wondering)\

First, there are no 'mental' hospitals any more!. There are behavioral units of hospitals where people receive services to figure out the best medication and receive in patient therapy for whatever disorder they may have!.
Forget the movies with the stone faced people sitting by a window or in front of the television!.
It is a nice relaxing environment and you will receive dignity, care and the right medication and therapy to help you!.

Fairly odd you don't know why you are going!.!. could be your parents or a temporary detention order or whatever maybe your not even going to a real psych hospital but if you are!.!.!. have a great time!.!. its gonna suck just remember your not as ****** up as half those people!. Seriously though your gonna meet some really interesting people that you will never never forget!.

i just came out of one 2 days ago ( i went there to treat anxiety and depression)
it was horrible some of the kids there were mentally challenged they screamed all night
and the nurces when i told them i hurt didnt care
the dont let you get out of your room untill its time to eat or your therapy session=[
and your windows are locked up with a key
