Try taking a Benadryl!. It is an anti-histamine (used for allergies) which has the bonus side effect of causing drowsiness!. It will help you calm down and fall sleep!. However, if you are allergic to red dyes, makes sure to double check the label for the non-dye formula!. Panic attacks are usually caused by excess adrenaline in your system!. Try deep breathing exercises as well as imagining peaceful surroundings!. Using a mantra might help as well!. Something that negates the cause of your anxiety!. Repeat it over and over while practicing the deep breathing!. You might also consider counting backwards from 50 while doing the breathing!. This will help you to focus on something other than whatever it is that is causing your anxiety!. The next time you see your doctor, you may want to mention your panic attacks!. There is medication that you can take to prevent them from happening in the first place!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Actually laying down and doing nothing is a really bad idea when you are having a panic attack!. I get panic attacks in my sleep almost every night and the only thing that makes it go away faster is to do something physical, like walk around the house, anything to get your focus off from the panic attack!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

It seems to me like more of an anxiety attack; the difference is shown in section 8, on panic, at http://www!.ezy-build!.net!.nz/~shaneris

I suggest that you practice the progressive muscle relaxation, shown in section 11, right now!. Later, view section 6, on anxiety; page N first!. Learn the other methods, and use whatever works best for you, including Tai Chi, Yoga Nidra, or Qi Gong!.

If you can relate this to your menstrual cycle, see section 19, on PMS!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

You have to first figure out the root of your panic attack!. Did you have a rough day!? Drink too much coffee, or drink coffee late in the day!? You may be due for your period!.

Lay down and try to breathe slowly!. Or take a hot bath!. Take your mind off of it by doing something else!. You'll be fine, believe me!
