I feel that i need to place myself in a mental institute. Should I?!

Question: I feel that i need to place myself in a mental institute!. Should I!?
i feel so overwhelmed and i just cry all the time and when i am not crying it's just because either i've ran out of tears or there are too many people around!.

i am pregnant, my boyfriend is hateful, i can't make a living to do what i went to school for because there is no market for personal fitness training around here, the poor economy knocked me out of a great paying job with great benefits, there are no good paying jobs in my county (or surrounding counties) and i have to settle for a job that hardly allows me to pay my bills every month and i live in a small apartment and i will have to move eventually when baby gets here but i won't be able to afford to move and i just sold my 2-door car and bought a second hand 4-door car for the baby and before i could afford to get any insurance on it a freakin deer ran out and tore the front end off of it!.

i was fine when i first found out i was pregnant, but now i feel that i am not mentally and certainly not financially stable enough to have a baby and i need alot of help!. i feel like i will soon have a nervous breakdown!. i don't feel well at all!.

i feel more and more hopeless each day that passes!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
okay, well first of all you are not mental!. You are just going through a time in your life where you are depressed!. If you are feeling like you are going to have a mental breakdown, find someone to talk to!. And if you feel that you aren't able to support the baby and yourself maybe you need to consider an alternative like adoption where another family will be able to take care of your baby, if you consider adoption but still want to know the progress of your child there are some that will accept an open adoption where you can still talk to the parents and get pictures, etc!. but for a now go talk to someone you trust, go see a psychologist or psychiatrist or go to your doctor because by the sounds of it after you have this baby you will have a form of postpartum depression!. SO GO TALK TO SOMEONE!. and you are just going through a hard time everyone does!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Being institutionalized would be a rather extreme reaction to take, but it does sound like you may be suffering from depression and might benefit from treatment!.

I would see what mental health practitioners in your area are covered under your insurance; if you don't have insurance there are usually some free/reduced rate clinics that offer counseling (and can help pay for medication should you need it)!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Only you can answer this really!. If you feel that you need help, then please get it!. Your doing a disservice for yourself and your baby by not seeking help that you need!.
Get yourself to the hospital!. Depression is treatable, and easier to treat before you have a meltdown!.
Going to hospital can also help you financially!. You can be placed on disability for the time being, with Dr's help!. While on assistance you would be surprised all the programs and help you will have access to that you didn't before!.
Good for you for knowing you need, and wanting to get help!. Too many people don't get the help!.
Go to the hospital, or Dr's, tell them what's going on and go from there!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Mental Health institutions are not what most ppl think!. Don't think it's a place were a bunch of crazy ppl are running around!. You need a vacation, seriously!. Most of this may be because of hormones, but yeah you need a vacation!. Be aware that these places can cost up to $1000 a day if your insurance doesn't cover mental health!. I think it would be an excellent choice for you if you need to get away, HOWEVER, financial strain may make it worse when you leave!. So opt for self help groups in your area if your insurance doesn't cover a hospital you can stay in!. Do you have family you can live with!? Having that reassurance that someone can take care of you helps too!. Otherwise, breathe! Everything is ok in the end, if it's not ok, it's not the end!. Just breathe and take things a day at a time!. Good luck honey I hope everything works out for you!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Here's some ideas to get you started!.!.!.
you're pregnant, yeah you have the opportunity to bring a new life into the world and be a mother!.

The father is hateful, yeah you're not married to the bum -- you can go find someone else and have a better influence on your child!.

There may not be the kind job that you want in your county -- but there are jobs that are good enough to pay your bills now!. Time is on your side, You might find the job you want if you just look a little harder, or you can wait out this financial crisis and get the job of your dreams later!.
