Are irrationality and rage typical symptoms of bipolar 2 disorder?!

Question: Are irrationality and rage typical symptoms of bipolar 2 disorder!?
Answers:
That is not typical for Bipolar 2 but it can be possible!. I know that in bipolar you can have what they call "dysphoric manias" which means that you have all the energy and intenseness of emotion but the emotions can be negative (such as rage or dispair) rather than the fun emotions normally experienced with mania!. I would assume the same is also possible with the hypomania in Bipolar 2!. So usually!? No!. Possibly!? Yes!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

What Are the Symptoms of Bipolar II Disorder!?
During a hypomanic episode, elevated mood can manifest itself as either euphoria (feeling "high") or as irritability!.

Symptoms during hypomanic episodes include:

Flying suddenly from one idea to the next
Rapid, "pressured" speech
Increased energy, with hyperactivity and decreased need for sleep

What Is Bipolar II!?
Bipolar II disorder (pronounced "bipolar two") is a form of mental illness!. Bipolar II is similar to bipolar I disorder, with moods cycling between high and low over time!.

However, in bipolar II disorder, the "up" moods never reach full-on mania!. The less-intense elevated moods in bipolar II disorder are called hypomanic episodes, or hypomania!.

A person affected by bipolar II disorder has had at least one hypomanic episode in life!. Most people with bipolar II disorder also suffer from episodes of depression!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Bipolar disorder is categorized by episodes of both mania and depression, not rage and irrationality!. However, during mania some individuals may feel aggressive as well as creative, energetic, and distracted!. Episodes of depression often include feelings of isolation, sadness, and hopelessness!. Both types of episodes can last anywhere from part of a day to more than a week!. In short, people who have bipolar disorder have "high highs and low lows"Www@Answer-Health@Com

They certainly can be!. Sometimes the manic stage can include irrational rage and violence instead of the extreme high!. Be careful if you're dealing with someone like that because you may be physically or emotionally injured!. However, be supportive of them and recognize that they are emotionally unstable and having a tremendously difficult time!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

It can be especially if a person is hypo-manic!. People with bipolar 2 don't go way off the deep end with manias!. They just get a little better than average!. Rage and irrationality could be part of that or it could be part of the fact that the person is just angry and stupid!. You never know!. Are bipolar 2 sufferers usually violent!? My guess, no, but that doesn't mean that they, like anyone else, cannot be!. Judge on the persons behaviour towards others rather than their diagnosis!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Not usually!. I would say that they are definetly bipolar 1 at that point!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
