Question: Urgent: Emotional Abuse Help!. Can I Press Charges!? I need help desperately!.!?
My mother has emotionally abused me all my life!. Leaving emotional scarring that is now in the form of PTSD and Borderline Personality Disorder!. She has led me to sucide attempts twice!. The second time she wrote a false report claiming I'd threatened her and I am not still in the legal system because of it trying to get it expunged!.
She is trying to do it again -- after six months in a psych facility -- she is trying to push me to my breaking point again!. I am sick of being the one that gets the worst of it!. I need a way to press charges, but all I've found is that if someone physically threatens you, you can press charges!. But that's it!.
I'm so scared of her right now!. She is trying to ruin my life and pretending as if she really cares about me to everyone else!. I am so scared!. I really need someone's help!.
1) I don't know if I've said it but *I* am the ONLY ONE trying to get better!. She isn't trying!.
2) I accept responsibility for my actions!. I do what I can!. I do my very best!. Please don't judge me and act like I haven't!. I came here for help not criticism!.
3) *I* am the one hard at work at CBT or Cognitive Behavioral Therapy!. I am not saying I'm Mr!. perfect, like I said before!. But I have changed in too many ways to say and it just NEVER pleases her!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Sounds like you could press charges!. It's a confusing situation!. Do you have a therapist you can talk to!? Maybe s/he could point you in the right direction, but either way I hope you get away from her!.!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
Try to become an EMANCIPATED citizen!. Then she cannot legally control what you do!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
