Question: Concerta and St!. John's Wort!?

I have no idea about Concetta specifically but I would not take St!. John's Wort w/any other antidepressant!. St!. John's Wort has been used as an herbal, primary antidepressant in Europe!. I would think that it could enhance the side effects of a prescribed antidepressant!.
I took SJW at one time b/c I knew I was depressed and didn't want to take the time to go see my PCP!. HUGE mistake!. After about 1 month I had stopped smiling, frowning, feeling good or bad!.!.!.I was numb!. It took a while to understand what had happened to me but after some of my friends commented on my change in affect I discontinued the SJW!. While everyone reacts differently, I would never recommend combining it w/prescription antidepressants!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

u CAN'T take antidepressants with st johns wort!.!.!.its really bad and dangerous!.!.!.st johns did nothing for my depression!.!.!.ssri's didn't do much either!.!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
