Question: Are larger bookshops likely to stock books on borderline personality disorder (UK)!?

My doctor confirmed this week that I do have a diagnosis of BPD (or "emoticionally unstable personality disorder" as it says on my notes)!. I'd really like to read up on it!. Does anyone with BPD know if larger bookshops like Borders stock books on BPD!? I dont have a Borders local to me and dont want to travel and have a wasted journey!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I have BPD live in the uk and have never found any books in any stores i get all mine from amazon,probably the most helpfull has been lost in the mirror- I read it after i was diagnosed, amazon has this, another good one is the bpd survival guide it has a pale green cover, there is also a good book written by a bpd sufferer Rachel Reiland ive forgotten the title but its about her recovery, your see it on the site there all grouped together take careWww@Answer-Health@Com

I remember wanting a book that I couldn't find anywhere so I asked Waterstones to order it for me!. I think they still do this!. Ask them! Or ask any other local book shop if they could do it for you!.

i have this to, i actually got my book on ebay!. its called "stop walking on egg shells"!. u'll get it alot cheaper online than the book stores!! it also comes with a workbook type thing, but its for the family rather than the sufferer, i got coned with this !.!.!. lol the main book is good tho!Www@Answer-Health@Com
the best place to try for books is whsmith, i tried getting a book for my husband out the works, but they do not order any books in!.

why not search their website, you will get the choice of either online or visit the shop then
