Obviously, there's a list that you need to go though before you can diagnose someone with DPD, but the essence is that the person cannot be alone, depends on people, especially one person, is afraid of being left to take care of him/herself, and has difficulty expressing him/herself due to this fear!.
Histrionic Personality Disorder (cluster B): "!.!.!.pervasive and excessive emotionality and attention-seeking behavior" (pg!. 711, DSM-IV-TR)!. Someone with HPD needs to be the center of attention, has a rather sexually seductive manner, shallow expressions that shift rapidly, and easliy influenced by others!.
