Stages of Grief? What happens during the grieving process?!

Question: Stages of Grief? What happens during the grieving process?
I lost my Mom and Grandma within the same week about two months ago, and it's been really hard. Emotionally, i'm not ok at all, but I put a smile on face like I am..I mean, lost two very important figures in my life and it hurts and I don't know what to do..I just want this pain to go away. How long does it take to get over something like this?..and what are the stages of grief?..thank you..

I'm grieving myself, and I honestly believe that one never gets over it, just life continues and one goes on living day by day, but the painful memories stay. It has been four months for now, and I still cry myself to sleep every night, and sometime during the day like if I go somewhere, there are memories everywhere, and God it hurts.

the stages of grief was debunked. somebody had just made it up, then was quoted over and over.

sorry for your loss.

i just read that for someone losing their spouse, most are noticeably recovered within 6 months, and almost all recover in a year.

you will always miss them, though. my husband is 71 and still misses his dad who died 30+ years ago. i miss my grandma who died 20 years ago.

yeah there are stages of grief, we learned about them in phys.ed. ! 1. denial 2. anger 3. bargaining 4.depression 5. acceptance, but everyone may go through them in different order
