Why do I keep having all of these scary dreams?!

Question: Why do I keep having all of these scary dreams?
Like just about on a weekly basis, I end up having some kind of dream where I'm hand cuffed and taken against my will by law enforcement where I'm accused of crimes I didn't commit. There is no due process. I'm automatically put in jail for drug possession, forgery, and attempted murder--crimes I DID NOT commit at all. Nobody believes that I'm innocent. I have no Miranda rights, no right to have an attorney or trial. Also, in the dreams, I have way more tattoos than I have now. I'm also locked up in this prison cell with a feces infested toilet and theres a group of these heavy set people that have weapons and are ready to kill me. I would hear one of them yell, "You are wrong! Quit it!" Right before the beating takes place, I wake up from the dream.
There are also these dreams where I go to my car late at night from a grocery store and a really big buff guy with a gun is after me. I get to my car, lock my doors, and start it, and he comes up to the window with the gun. After that, I wake up again.

What gives with me having these type of dreams?

Answers:

Psychologists believe that when you have nightmares something has effected you deeply or you are troubled about something. Or it may be your mind editing memories you have from a investigation TV show. Refraim from watching CSI or NCIS.

This may sound weird, but if your eating any spicy foods before you sleep. Your more prone to have nightmares.
Don't ask me about the science behind it. But its been proven and I always used to eat hot peppers before bed and had my worst dreams then.
aha hope this helps?
