Why do I feel "high" after a panic attack?!

Question: Why do I feel "high" after a panic attack?
Very..."zen" I guess. Breathing is very slow and steady, eyelids are droopy. Very calm. Kind of like a high. Why? Is it endorphins?

I sometimes even think about putting myself in situations I know will make me panic just so I can feel it. I haven't though. I don't know if it's worth the actual attack.

Answers:

your body releases adrenalin when you are scared or are in panic, then when when you have calmed down your body releases a hormone called dopamine which is what gives you this "high" mood

a panic attack is horrible i hate it i feel upset and i just wanna run its not something that any1 wants id rather have a few beers then its more less likely u will have a panic attack it seems to work for me and its a better feelin well till the next morning ya get a headache but whats a headache compared to that panic feelin ya get oooooo its horrible

I guess it would be because your body is releasing/producing endorphins.

It is similar to the same reason people bungy-jump/sky dive/ scuba with sharks/white water raft...or any other 'dangerous' activity.
