Is it possible to be addicted to breathing air or drinking water?!

Question: Is it possible to be addicted to breathing air or drinking water?
Answers:

I am not sure actually, it might be possible for people to, do to ocd or something, take non- stop drinks of water even more then needed. Air, i am not sure maybe if someone keeps breathing in without breathing out. Like partially due to the fact i have a light touch of asperger syndrome i am EXTREMELY annoyed by sniffing so i blow my noes to much. But i take it in good humor knowing its totally stupid. Anyway i hope this is a good answer, i need to reply to my friend on facebook so i do not have time to spellcheck this or w/e

Dependant and addicted fall into the same category in drug treatment facilities, which only make money if people are admitted in, and found to be dependant/ addicted. Using the questionarres used by these facilities, you would be considered dependant on water and air, which ultimately could be argued that you are addicted. With this self-justifying reason to gain favor by an authority to place label upon others, you will find that an argument that justifies anything other than what the authority says, will be deemed as part of the disease, specifically "denial." If you do not believe you are addicted to breathing air, or drinking water, you are in denial. That is what to be is washed into brain by powers at be. Addiction will ultimately be defined many different ways, but ask yourself, if you were to quit doing what you are doing, will you die, or will you be irritated, sick, or other forms of withdrawel. If so, and it's not deemed to be "OK" by the authorities, you are considered addicted. NO YOU CAN NOT BE ADDICTED TO A SUSBSTANCE THAT IS ESSENTIAL TO LIFE.

I have never heard it quite like that before.

If we did not breathe air or drink water, we would die. I do not know how you came up with the idea that it would be an addiction.

Far from it, it is a necessary habit that we should carry out in order to have our bodies function properly.

No, don't be retarded.

I think it's pretty good to be addicted to them.
