Being smart is a bad thing!?!

Question: Being smart is a bad thing!?
I never study for tests yet get 95% as the lowest score.

I just look over everything and cram everything into my head in last few mins before the exams and yet, get SUPER high results yet everybody else take a month to learn such simple things.

I get hyper and super crazy with friends but I just act crazy and psycho because that's the only thing that will make my friends laugh and like me. Nobody likes a quiet nerd.

I'm a forgiving person and think twice before my actions and know everything I should be learning in college since my dad is a scientist....and he thought me those things lol.

I ALWAYS get extremely tired with boredom in class because everything we learn is much too easy for me and we repeat the same thing over and over again for a whole damn frigging month!

I once heard one of my teachers saying that it's a bad thing and it means I'm like retarded or something or have some kind of illness? Idk, wasn't listening. But how can being smart be bad?

Thanks in advance! =D

You're really just gifted, and usually gifted people have a problem dealing with down-time, or social situations(like you explain how you feel the need to 'entertain' your friends, and get extremely bored in class).

You'd probably do way better if you'd join a gifted program.

It's not a bad thing, you just need proper stimulation of your brain, to keep the peace.

your just smarter than them :D
and your not a nerd
im smart and my math teacher is stupid
REALLY STUPID
so when i did a test i got 53% because she says so and the calculator says the opposite :P

be an optomist or however you spell it

I think you have photographic memory...

That's what it sounds like. And that's DEFINITELY not a bad thing! TAKE ADVANTAGE!
So many people would die for a photographic memory!

You're not super smart. You just have a good memory. Keep that in mind or you will look like an arrogant as$.

It's not bad; your teachers are just equipped to handle your retarded classmates and don't really know what to do with you. I'd recommend finding a more specialized education - are there any private or charter schools, "gifted" programs, advanced/AP/honors classes, etc. that you could try instead?
Of course, this all comes with the caveat that you're never going to find yourself truly, consistently challenged throughout school. They don't want to spark your intellectual growth; they just want to babysit you and give you the information to pass some standardized tests. It sucks, but you'll live.
