Please answer this ASAP, must know what I should do w/ myself to stabilize?!


Question: Please answer this ASAP, must know what I should do w/ myself to stabilize?
Tried to commit suicide 2 months ago, now can't feel anything and want to be spirited away to a fantasy world, or sleep forever, have no plans for the future, started having psychosis or whatever a few months ago, I have absolutely no motivation and am not living well. Am quite isolated, barely ever speak, have major social anxiety.


What would you suggest I do to change things, put myself in a better situation, and improve? Name anything that may help, such as pills, hospital, etc.

The best place to start really is with your own doctor they will refer you anywhere you may need they can pesribe the right medication or again will refer you to the perso who can.Trouble is there is so may types of therapy and pills and no-one could really say exactly what you need because everybody needs slightly different things.Sorry I know this isn't quite the answer you were looking for hopefully someone else may have a better answer.



First, consult a physician who will pass you on to a psychologist. You definitely need medication and professional help. As for what you can do on your own, find out what makes you upset or depressed. Lack of friends? Parents? living situations? school? Lack of activities? Once you have at least figured out a few things that seem to increase your depression, think of how you can change them. If you need more friends to socialize with, join a club or volunteer somewhere. You said you have social anxiety so maybe volunteering at an animal shelter would be good for you. It is often easier to make friends with animals, and animals who really need someone, and it would be an easy social situation if people did talk to you since you could just talk about the dogs or cats.

Not sure how old you are, but you could take some online courses. It is easier to get along with people when you only have to communicate to them via email or blogs. Plus, it would help you make some friends online and it would help further your education and give you something to look forward to.

Most of all though, consult professional help.



you poor soul, I understand, the pain of loneliness. It can hurt so bad you consider ways to make it stop as if it will not stop on its own. Here is what I use to cope, right at this very moment. The feeling will pass. It may not seem like it, it does, u just got to be strong even if it is robotic, and engage in life. You do not feel like you want to but showing up and engaging is 80% of success, also listen to the basics, for example. What do I need in the next couple of minutes, am I hungry, eat. Am I tired sleep, do I need wash a load of clothes toss them in. Listen your self, body is telling you how to help yourself. I have had thoughts of severe depression as well but then i remembered how much my family would miss me if i hurt myself. You only have one life, you might as well live it to the fullest.
