Yes, I suffered with severe anxiety and panic attacks from the age of 13-15. I had numerous visits to the doctor who prescribed therapy and anti-depressants (Which also treat anxiety) I was also given special medication specifically for when I had a panic attack. Go to the doctor and definitely get therapy, i'm now anxiety free!

Good luck, I know how hard it can be x

Yes, you can. They'll probably try to start you off with something milder first, but not necessarily. They just don't want you to become addicted and make sure you aren't a drug seeker. Did you receive therapy from a psychologist or psychiatrist? You'll have to see a psychiatrist to get anxiety meds. You might need to see a different one if yours is not willing to prescribe anything.

Talk with your Doctor about this issue. You may also want to try seeing a different therapist since individuals with anxiety tend to do best with both therapy and medications, if needed.
