What do you think of power eating, for comfort, if overeating for a time poses n!

Question: What do you think of power eating, for comfort, if overeating for a time poses no threat to you?
I have just put my 4th dinner of the day in the oven, 2 fish, chips, peas, cabbage. I cook all the food i eat, & drink only water & coffey.

i have been doing this more or less for maybe 2 weeks or so, as it is basically the only thing that provides comfort that i can indulge in at the moment.

I have to address the fact that i have no income of any kind, & basically, get any job whatsoever on monday, assuming that this is possible, which is a bit of a worry i must admit, otherwise i'm going to be in serious trouble.

For the last couple of hours ive been thinking, what shall i do, what can i do, there isn't anything i can do, shall i cook another meal ? no.....no...maybe...might do, yea go on then. I'm not hungry now at all.

The food itself is no threat, i have never been overweight & not likely i ever will be, i am very athletic very physical, i have cycled 157 miles or 253 KM in a day & once walked home 34 miles from the pub, central london out in to the home counties, for fun. (i usually average 2 hours of cycling a day over the whole year) So no amount of calories is ever likely to bother me or even be noticed tbh.

But all the same what am i doing, eating vast quantities of food for no good reason. This question, is it a question lol, i don't know but it brings me closer to monday, which i think is a good thing.

What do you think.

I think you're okay if you get that much exercise. However, this overreating could cause a few problems. First of all, you say you're having money problems? It may be bad, then, to start having to buy more food. If you really need it, though, then just try to keep it reasonable. The other problem I noticed is what you eat. Again, with that much exercise it isn't a huge deal, but you should really try to eat healthy things. Fruits, vegetables, fiber bars... things like that, and less of the chips and desserts. You'll feel better in every way possible. You also won't start developing other health problems besides obesity, which you may be at risk for right now even with the exercise. And you could try to eat less but more often. The human body functions better when you graze instead of having three large meals a day. Good luck, and I hope things improve! I personally find that listening to music is a great comfort. On more thing- keep in mind that overreating is very common in times of stress, but so is undereating. What you're doing is a thousand times better than becoming anorexic, and with that much exercise, I honestly think you'll be fine.
