why do i feel this way?!


Question: Why do i feel this way?
recently i have been feeling lonely and sad and i dont know why. I have the most amazing boyfriend, wonderful friends, and a family but i also have tons of stress. Please someone help me because im tired of feeling like this.

Hi Dakota. Sounds like you might be depressed. Your life doesn't have to be horrible to feel depressed. Sometimes it just happens. Stress can be a hugh factor also. Is there somebody that you can talk to about this? Sometimes just talking about how you feel, and getting things out, can really help. If you don't feel better soon, maybe some kind of therapy would help. Depression can get worse, if left untreated, so don't wait for that to happen. Don't be afraid to reach out for help. 1. Pick a day of the week. (Needs to be a day that you don't have to do anything)
2. Prepare a bag with your favorite notebook, pencil, and most comfy blanket.
3. Leave all technology at home.
4. Dress comfy for a ME! day.
5. You may want to bring your favorite snack.
6. Try to walk to the park or use a bicycle.

Be responsible leave a note saying where you are going to be and when you are coming back. Let them know you want to be alone for a while.

Do this in the morning or early morning.
Find a quiet spot in the park.
Get everything nicely.
Open your notebook and write everything that makes you feel stressful. Write every detail. Then in another page write things that you can do to help relieve all the stress. Be positive. (Key!!)

You can choose to do this every time you like.
Fun park activities can be... exercise, coloring book, drawing, training a puppy to do tricks, walking for fun, ride bikes, skate, crosswords, puzzles, tennis, basketball, sand volleyball, crafts, crochet...Look for something outdoors that has an goal. Find people that are interested in what you like.

Listen to different music. Find a new rhythm that you like. :)

When I feel this way I change stuff in my room like...bed positioning, closet move shirts to one side and pants to the other, the colors are so important there are colors that can drive you crazy...Get a different scent in the room. Try to change routine a little. Do something different. Be positive (Key!!)
