You are right, it's very funny doing it, especially after a few drinks, some people take it extremely serious and big bets are put on them. We have quite a few strange games/sports here going back centuries. Nettle eating, running down an extreely steep hill chasing a cheese. I suppose we are crazy in your eyes, but not in ours. hahaha

I am English, and i have never seen this " sport ". we dont all do this only the nutters in the backward vilages that are still scared of the moon and throw rocks at it. every country has its fare share of crazy people. look at the usa for instance. thinking they get taken in space crafts while they are asleep, now thats crazy
