What mental illness did Nina have in "Black Swan"?!

Question: What mental illness did Nina have in "Black Swan"?
I saw it yesterday and I was thinking she maybe had either paranoid-schizophrenia or borderline personality disorder, or both maybe? Which do you think she had?

I haven't seen the movie but list the symptoms and I can tell you. If she was mostly violent and lashed out at people then it's borderline personality disorder. Schizophrenic people can do that too but it also comes with hallucinations. Though if she was taking drugs then it's neither because it would have been the drug that is causing the symptoms.

I just wanted to add that schizophrenia isn't caused by any external factor. It is genetic. Now women can not show symptoms till their later 20 or early 30's but they have always had the disorder. If it was something external that caused her symptoms, like abuse it is ptsd (post traumatic stress disorder) The hallucinations that you saw could be just her remembering what happened in her past. (I have not seen the movie so I can't say 100%.) But it also causes anger and other problems. Here is a link to some of the symptoms

This is kinda fun lol. I wanna see the movie to see if I can figure out what is wrong with her.

Schizophrenic. She was hallucinating; seeing things, herself in other people etc. She was paranoid about everything, she had no trust at all in herself, her peers, her mother. What you've said is right, the enormous pressure to be perfect, to put herself to extreme limits as well as confusion over her own identity and her sexuality are all real life issues that can cause schizophrenia or any other type of mental illness.

neither. She suffered from having a mother who was unfulfilled and projected it onto her vulnerable daughter.

i think paranoid.
