I hate my height so much it makes me wish I were dead most of the time. I can't even remember the last time I saw another person the same height as me.
I rarely ever go out any more. I used to go to the mall on the weekend, but not any more, Out of the hundreds of people I would see at the mall, all of them were much shorter than I was, leaving me feeling like I was a total freak of nature!
I HATE MY HEIGHT.
I wish that I could never leave my place again. I hate going out and seeing just how huge I am compared to everyone else.
Many times I have dreams about being a normal sized guy who stood 5'5 inches tall. It would be great to be 5'5 because there are many people who are 5'5 and I would therefore feel normal and see people around my size everyday.
I don't understand how the hell I got to be so large in the first place. With most guys around 5'5 to 5'7 I ended way bigger than what I should have been.
Both of my parents are normal size. Mom is 5'3 dad is 5'6.
Shouldn't I have only been 5'5 because that's in between their height's.
I'm frustrated, angry, and depressed about my height.
Why did I grow so much?
Can I ever live with be so huge?

Look, 6ft 1 is completely normal for a guy your age - totally and completely normal. If you'd rather be 5ft 5 which is a little on the short side for a man then you have a distorted perception of height.
First of all you aren't depressed, second you aren't as tall as you think you are.
6'1 1/2, that is just a little over average height.
I thought being tall was desirable, I mean I bet there are a lot of men who would like to be your height.
if you want to feel shorter then on tv, there is sometimes shows about really tall people....watch those so you feel shorter.

Don't worry your not as tall as you think actually a lot of girls like tall guys compared to short ones :)
What town do you live in where the average male is 5'5? Must be a town full of Asian's/Latino's to be that many short people on average. 6'1 or 6'2 is the minimum height to even make it to the NBA/NFL nowadays. I'm right at 5'11 1/2 and wish I were slightly taller so I could dunk and see better at concerts. Most women don't want a guy shorter then themselves either. So, as long as you don't have to buy special sized clothes you should be very happy with your height!!
There's nothing wrong with being that tall. My fiance is 6'2 and his mom is 6'0 so is his sister and his brother is 6'1 so is his dad. My whole family is very short but my one brother is 6'1. Be proud of your height. I'm 5'6 and I love that my fiance is so tall. I couldn't be with someone shorter than me. And almost all my friends have boyfriends that are 6'0 or taller. Don't be ashamed hun. You are not the only one out there like that and the average height for a girl is 5'6 - 5'7 not a guy. The average for a guy is 5'9 - 6'0. So your only a little above average. So relax and realized that being tall is not so bad. Good luck hun
Honestly, being tall is much more advantageous, not to mention, attractive to women as well. I'm 6 ft. 2 and people are constantly jealous of my height. Most males on average are actually about 5 foot 9 to 5 foot 10, and that's not that much farther behind you.
There is nothing wrong at all with being tall, and it actually can be quite convenient. Most jobs I've held liked having me as I could reach things nobody else could and some people have a problem listening to shorter people. If you are into sports, you also have an advantage in that area.
You're pretty hard on yourself for being in a position that human nature actually has been evolving towards, rather than away from. I assure you, you have nothing to feel depressed about! There are many people out there of "the average height" that also feel that they don't stand out, and they strive to be unique, not just another guy amongst guys. They feel the same way about being short as you do tall. Keep your head up man, being tall can be a wonderful gift, if you accept it and use it for all it's greatest advantages!

if it makes you feel better, you seriously aren't that super tall, guys 6'4" and around that may feel the way you do, but you are fine. I am a woman of 5 10 and I love tall men. Most women do. Don't worry about it. Also, they've done research and tall people are more successful in their careers. The majority of CEO's are over 6 feet tall! Interesting fact that may help you enjoy your height!
