On their site you can also find the phone number for your local chapter. They are there for support, information and they have the best resources for the help that you need in your area. They also have support meetings for those with mental illness and for those who have friends or loved ones with mental illness.

Schizophrenia is a personality disorder where the patient perception of reality and emotions are highly altered, after more than a half century of research the causes of this disease are still unknown as well as its functional mechanism in the brain, as well as their treatment since drugs for schizophrenia are not always 100% effective from patient to patient.
