HELP!I seem to fit most mental conditions such as borderline personality disorde!

Question: HELP!I seem to fit most mental conditions such as borderline personality disorder and other ones?
I'm only 13 and 5 years ago I diagnosed with Post traumatic syndrome, and extreme OCD, and lots of specialists and psychologists think I'm bipolar. Also I used to suffer from reallllllly bad seperation anxiety. But I fit so many other things, is that okay? Should I have counselling for the things in my past? I've had CBT but it didn't work. I have all the symptoms for Avoidant Personality Disorder and Borderline personality disorder. What should I do? I hate being different, I don't want to ask for help, because I don't want to accept I have anything wrong :'(

I'm sorry to hear you are feeling this way, and YES talk to someone about it! If you feel you need some support and someone to talk to then reach out for help. This doesn't necessarily mean that you have anything wrong, you have had different experiences that have impacted how you feel about things today. You can continue to talk to you doctor who diagnosed you with the PTSD and OCD or a school counselor, family, therapist, or pastor/priest. Just talk to someone that you trust and can get you support and help that you need.

If you want to talk, you can also call the Boys Town National Hotline at 1-800-448-3000. You can also email or chat with a Counselor at the website www.YourLifeYourVoice.org. Take Care!

No there is none of these things you talk of. Ok so there are 3 parts to one person. A whole bunch of people call this christian but nope. You have me myself and I am. So dont be I this or I that. Be....

I AM

I AM has its own recognition so now seperate that from me. The journey is the destination.Dont run so fast ok. I hope this helps you. Just find that seperation from the mind and the heart and then the spirit will find its own self. Let worrying worry.

Ive felt this way at one point and now Im 30 but I Am is not 30

You definitely wouldn't be diagnosed with a personality disorder at this stage, because personality disorders are only diagnosed after you turn 18 (your personality may change before then).

If you were professionally diagnosed with these disorders, your doctor would be the best person to go to for referrals to psychologists and other treatment. CBT doesn't help everyone, different people need different approaches. Try another therapist that used a different approach. Depending on exactly what kind of things happened in the past, something like family therapy might be helpful, if you want to work at therapy with your parents. Ask your doctor (or whoever diagnosed you with PTSD and OCD).

There's nothing wrong with asking for help. Denying that there's anything wrong and ignoring the problem won't help, it will only make things worse in the long run.

It's ok to have several disorders all at once. It's called comorbidity, and it happens quite a lot (I myself have bulimia, borderline personality disorder, depression, and a dissociation disorder). It's actually really rare to have just one thing, most people have more than one.

Another thing that you might find helpful: have you considered joining a mental health forum? It will help you see that you're not the only one going through these things. Here are a few I found:
