I am sorry to hear about the struggles that you are having. It must be very distressing.

The first thing that I must say is, please consult a doctor as soon as possible!

The likes of us on Yahoo can provide some support and make stabs at what might be happening but as so often is the case, it could be one of a whole catalogue of things ranging from the mild to the serious. The sooner you see your doctor, the sooner you get a clear diagnosis and the sooner you get the correct treatment (if treatment is required).

This could be a manifestation of either a psychological or physical problem. For example the thirst is a common symptom of untreated diabetes. However it doesn't mean that you have diabetes but you need the proper investigations to find out.

One thing that has crossed my mind is that certain recreational drugs can cause the mental disorganisation that you experience. So if you have been taking anything it is time to address it.

Please see a doctor and I do hope it goes well for you.

I agree with Simon. You are still at an age where you could have juvenile onset diabetes, which would cause thirst, concentration problems, and a general feeling of malaise.

If that's not it, I would tell a school counselor. There are many other forms of learning disabilities that you have probably never heard of. You could even have a form of dyslexia, especially considering your problems with chemistry.

I would get a general checkup bu my doctor. You could have some other metabolic problem, such as a lack of a vitamin.

Are there other areas of your life where concentration is not a problem, such as reading? A counselor could help you with all of this, and maybe even have you tested for various learning and concentration problems.

Best of luck to you!
