I have ADHD; how can I force myself to do school without meds?!

Question: I have ADHD; how can I force myself to do school without meds?
I am inattentive so I will basically daydream and lose my spot all the time.

Should I make a small taser to shock myself?
Should I slap myself hard in the face?

Please help, I am not trolling.

My fiance also has ADHD. In the USA right now there is a shortage of adderal. We just paid over $100 for a 1 month supply. (last month paid $55 with insurance next month it could be more they said) So he is also trying to learn other ways to deal with our adderal. & he is working 2 jobs!
There is a ton of herbal supplements! Look into those that is what he does when he feels himself starting to get lost in his own world he takes something that isn't a drug. There is a ton of things that work its just finding the right 1. Also talk to your doctor about what could help! Good luck!
Do no slap yourself. People will look at your very funny & I don't believe it will help!

25 year old fiance has ADHD & bipolar
but works 2 jobs & is a high ranking forman at both! It can be done

When you find yourself going off track in school, try taking a break. Maybe go for a short walk to help clear your mind, then come back and do the work.
Think of it this way, the more time you try your best to focus and consentrate on your work, the faster it will get finished, and the less time you wil have to worry about it :D
You can also ask the teacher random questions about the work too, im sure he/she will be more then pleased to try and help you stay focused.
Good luck ^_^

Take your meds. Use the strategies you have been taught to help with concentration. If necessary, get advanced help, like the teacher speaks into a microphone, and you have ear phones that block out all noise but his/her voice. You are entitled to help if in the USA under PL 94 142, or IDEA.

try herbal stuff sometimes works for one month, i did find some herbs but it said you can take it for one month, stop and start again a few weeks later, from whole foods stores.... they have helpful stuff to calm you down, might help? gaia herbs.... has great web site..
