Question: Potential boyfriend seeing self harm scars?
There's a guy I'm getting kind of close to and I'm scared of his reaction to my self harm scars. He doesn't know I have them but I have a lot on my thigh , the top of my arm and I also have the word fat scarred on my side. What should I do about him seeing them? I'm so ashamed and embarrased.

hopefully he'll accept you for who you are
i know i wouldn't be comfortable with people knowing unless I really really trusted them (although people have told me without really trusting me...)
I would cover up until you're at a point where you're ready to share that with him
if he really cares about you, he'll be okay.

Just wear trouser and long sleeve shirts
cover up and get help
