It it possible for an animal abuser to be gentle and sweet to some animals while!

Question: It it possible for an animal abuser to be gentle and sweet to some animals while be cruel to others?
People on Yahoo answers are saying I am an animal abuser because of the questions I ask but if you talk to people I know they will tell you how gentle I am. I am just cruel to animals that challenge me. I think I only have anger and control issues but I am not sadistic and mean just for the fun of it. I am cruel to cats that challenge me by hissing or growling because their fangs and voice makes me angry and my heart beats fast and I just pick them up then push them down to the floor and restrain them. With friendly animals I am friendly back to them. I never killed an animal or physically injured it or beat it up I just hold them down and over power them and make sure they can't move but never ever hit them. I need help what to do?I diagnosed with ADHD,Bipolar and aspergers and all doctors agree I don't have bipolar or ADHD at all and I only have aspergers.

Answers:

some people are just animal crazy. i for one dont hate animals and i do think that people who abuse them should be punished. but some people put animals on a higher ground than people. those people are just crazy. i dont think youre an abuser, but why do you like to over-power them? if they act up you need to train them, same thing with children. but never beat them.

Yes! Look at Ted Bundy for example... Sure he murdered and raped all those women (and even abused animals as a child) and inmates say he acted like a saint.

Yes, like some may have an extreme hate for a certain animal due to past harms from the animal when others are fine.

ALL ANIMAL ABUSERS NEED TO BE LOCKED UP FOR A VERY LONG TIME!!!
GET HELP OR GET LOCKED UP!

I wish i knew you.. because if I did i would make sure you were locked up away from all animals!

yes, its definitely possible for an animal abuser to be gentle to only some animals and cruel to others, and that;s definitely not right. i've seen people who are really gentle with dogs and cats and "pets", but very cruel to smaller animals, rodents, insects, and even fish....its stupid. i understand why u only are cruel to animals that challenge you, but a cat hisses when it is scared/mad...so i wouldnt hold the cat down..this behaviour on your side is just causing u more fear and stress in the long run. try to ignore animals that cause you fear or stress. maybe talk to a counselor about controlling yourself when it comes to situations that you are not comfortable with and u end up being cruel. good luck!! =)

Rage is a reaction to something that causes you fear. In that split second when a cat hisses at you and you get pissed and go to pin it down, it's not really anger, it's deep seeded fear that causes you to react that way in order to gain control. The key to avoiding that whole fear situation is learning how to step back from yourself when something like that happens. Remember that being in a situation where an animal is showing signs of being territorial or upset with you is much easier avoided by gaining their respect than their fear, because those are 2 very different things. Sometimes you can't always win over animals, and that's when you step back from yourself and your emotions (because after all, feelings are only feelings. They're not facts. That's what makes them "feelings"), and you walk away, and leave them alone. If you ask someone on a date and they say no, or are even rude to you, your reaction shouldn't be to pin them down and make them fear for their lives, it's to just walk away.
