How to cope with loneliness and facing the world alone?

Answers:

There's not much info in your question to indicate why you are feeling so alone, and why you think you are alone. Has something happened to someone you were close to? Are you having a hard time dealing with stresses in your life? Have you recently moved into an unfamiliar area?
You sound like you have become quite depressed. Being solitary and isolated is not a natural way of being for a human. True, many people (me included) love my solitude from time to time, but I would never want to be without my friends, and it's important for a person's mental health to not feel completely isolated. You might benefit from seeing your local doctor to talk about how you're feeling - it might be something more than just feeling miserable. If you have depression for example, this can be treated.
Otherwise, it sounds like your passion and enjoyment for living is starting to fade. It might be time to step outside of your comfort zone and do something different, to break up your routine. Perhaps a good place to start might be to do a craft or arts course (meant for poeple of your age group, held on weekends or after work hours etc). Many colleges run short courses, and they are on lots of different fun subjects. Why not enrol for a few courses, learning something you've never tried before. Many people go to these courses alone, and are very happy to make new friends. It might be good for you.
Perhaps you can join a gym - probably the last thing you feel like doing, but exercise is a very good mood-lifter (scientifically confirmed) or, if you're reasonably fit, perhaps join a fitness group that exercises outside or does different activities for fitness.
Just some ideas. I think though it might benefit you to see a doctor for a chat, just to check wether your mood is just low, or you have some symptoms of depression...then, try something new and a different to your normal routine and see if it sparks some enjoyment in you again.
Good luck
