Question: What is wrong with my friend? Is this a disorder?
My friend on the outside is a very normal, friendly person that many people like. However, her bedroom is a very scary place. She keeps it extremley dirty and messy. She has moldy cups and clothes thrown everywhere, an entire family of fruit flies, and she tells me that she sometimes will pee inside of empty gatorade bottles and such to avoid leaving her room because she says her family is unbearable. Is this a disorder of some kind or is she just extremly depressed?

She sounds extremely depressed. You should ask how she feels and listen to her, cause it doesn't seem like life is treating her fairly.
It does sound like she is seriously disturbed. Do you think she could be bipolar? Have you tried talking to her Mom or Dad. If not ask her to please go to the hospital emergency with you and they will put her in touch with some help. Good luck and good for you for standing by her.
