If My Nephew and my great aunt suffered from schizophrenia/psychosis, what are t!

Question: If My Nephew and my great aunt suffered from schizophrenia/psychosis, what are the chances that I will too?
I recently found out that my nephew who is 15 (my half sisters son)
And my great aunt on my dads side (my half sister and I share the same dad)
both suffer/ed from psychosis and schizophrenia.
Now I already have Generalised Anxiety disorder and chronic depression, and sometimes if i'm under great stress I get delusions, that people are purposefully agaisnt me, plotting against me etc, trying to make me look bad so that I cant defend myself etc.
so now I'm just a little worried that this will develop in to something else, does anyone know the likelyhood? thanks for any advice you may have.
I'm female and 18, by the way

Very very low, less than 5% An aunt and nephew are far removed genetically , anyway.
Some of your symptoms could be caused by imbalanced hormones and you could find a compounding pharmacy and ask them what doctors test and balance hormones. Hormones rule our bodies in many ways, including mental health.
The thoughts you have of people plotting against you, if there is some truth to that, then it isn't delusion. If this could not be happening and is not happening, then you already have the capacity to determine that, and it is unlikely that will increase , if once you realize it for what it is , perhaps better labeled a fear, then you are dealing appropriately with that.
If might help you to know that, schizophrenia is still considered an illness developed out of the enviromental and carer problems as a young child or baby, rather than an emphasis on genetics. They know very little about mental health causes.
Hormone experts say most mental illness is caused by imbalanced hormones, so you could call a compounding pharmacy and ask what doctors test and balance hormones in your area. Even diabetes, high blood sugar and an imbalanced thyroid can cause the symptoms you describe.
I would say just get some supportive people around you, a well balanced life, and if you need some help removing pain and trauma the best known therapy i know of is eftmastersworldwide.com there are some good ones in the UK that know that method.

chances are 35 to 1. It could end with you. Other words you may not get that stuff at all.

Well it all has to do with genetics. It is impossible to determine your genotypes with the information you have given, so your chances can't be determined. However, since it is in your family, you have a greater chance of getting it than an average person. If you want good, hard numbers, then go to a genetic counselor and s/he can map out your genes and tell you whether or not you have the disease and the likelihood of passing it on to your kids. You can also get a psychiatric evaluation from a doctor which will also determine if you have it or not.
Hope this helps
