Greeaat! Your experiencing the negative aspects of OCD. Not at all fun. It limits your ability to enjoy your life and sometimes if unchecked can become completely paralyzing, filling you with fear and anxiety. It's the hallmark of addiction. Obsessing on things beyond your control is what you're doing. Once you surrender to the fact that bedbugs are beyond your control, you may start to experience some peace. Almost everything in life is beyond your control, but not how you react to it. Do you want to be unhappy? Acceptance is key. Your life has become unmanageable because of this phobia. Use some pyrethrins, natural bug repellent. While you learn to accept the world with bedbugs in it, try to be happy they're not scorpion spiders. Will they eat you? No. Can you live a happy successful life with bedbugs? Yes. Can you control the world? Bedbugs? No. The first exercise in changing your behavior is awareness of the unwanted behavior, the next is taking action. When you feel this anxiety, call someone, preferably someone that has a problem and ask how they are doing, focus on them and their problem. This has a two-part benefit, taking the focus off of you and bedbugs, thereby diminishing your problem, and putting you back in control, and allowing you to help another person with a real or perceived problem. You have a disease of perception. To us perception is reality. See yourself through someone else's perspective right now, theirs is a more accurate definition. Bedbugs won't kill you or eat you. If that were the case there would be no humans on this planet. You need people and support to help you change your behavior. Find an OCD group to go to. It's great. We all get together and talk about our fears and misconceptions. We change. We do some really stupid ****. Humor is really key for me. Love you.

One thing you need to do------> Love bed bugs. You are so scared of it that it is ruining your life. You can go to a doctor but he/she may advice the same. I am telling you so coz once I was scared of cats. I hated cats. When I go to sleep I felt that several cats are on my bed and staring on me. I could not eat(fish) also coz while eating I felt I was eatings cat's flesh. I got rid of this when I began to love them.
So try to do it. It will take a little bit of time

you altered your life because of bugs??? too bad because, you can never get those day's back and while everyone else is enjoying life, your huddled in your room afraid of a bug, Ir's true bugs aren't all friendly and disgusting to look at but to alter your life. your just cheating yourself, stop the madness and start living like a human being, not a zombie
