Can you put dry cured sausage in a sandwich?!

Question: Can you put dry cured sausage in a sandwich?
my mind's playing tricks on me and i can't get hte idea out of my head that i'm going to die from food poisoning. I ate spanish chorizo (dry cured). Just two slices in a sandwich. My frined gave me some the other week and it was okay. But people are telling me that I'm gonna puke and Ive never been sick before, apart from when I was a baby. I want to make myself vomit.

I eat chorizo uncooked regularly. There are 2 types the large salami like sausage that is thin sliced and the smaller sausages that are usually used in recipe cooking.

GP for more years than I care to remember

Dry cured meat is fine to eat - its similar to salami, which people have in sandwiches all the time!

If you've got food poisoning from something you ate the other week then you would have been sick already... you've probably digested and excreted it by now!!

Btw don't make yourself sick - if your body wants to puke then it will do it by itself :p

your fine.
you wont be sick.
dont vomit unless you have to.
