Question: I think I'm autistic. Help?
I don't want to suggest this to my parents as they might stop liking me is there a way to check for definite that doesnt require parental consent?

i don' think your parents would stop liking you if you were. but if your sure, you can check online doctors and diagnosis pages. i don't think that your symptoms necessarily mean you have autism. if you did you wouldn't look people in the eye, you wouldn't like to be touched at all, and wouldn't be able to communicate with other people. some autistics repeat other people words back to them just so the other person knows that they are listening, even if they can't communicate back. if you have any of these problems, definitely speak to your parents and a doctor, if not, im pretty sure your safe :) hope this helps :)
Feels like you don't have a problem socializing but you just chose not to because its boring, almost useless, being so creative you can accomplish so much more.
Its challenging!, while some classes are so boring that you simply don't care, because their boring... you understand everything before its taught to you.
Thats how I was in school, Got all F's but when it was time for Major exams, I always ACED them, heck I even scored highest in the state a few years in a row.
Frankly put, I was bored with 1 plus one.
every hobby I chose to take up, ALWAYS yielded first and 2nd place trophy's, because the subjects where a challenge for my mind.
I don't know what it is that makes us different, all I can say is, Do anything that is a challenge to you, perhaps you simply have a naturally higher IQ.
The human brain is an incredible machine, when one part becomes under developed another part becomes over developed.
The frontal lobe is used for socializing and can become under developed if not used enough, while other parts of the brain begin to function better.
Picture a blind person having extremely good hearing.
Thats how you can draw the fine line between autism (a real problem) and behavioral differences between you and the other kid.
lol your parents won't stop liking you just because you're autistic. i am. my parents like me. Unless your parents are totally unreasonable. you could talk to them. they might able. there's test you can get. blablabla.
