How do I tell my psychiatrist my obsession with pills and suicidal planning and !

Question: How do I tell my psychiatrist my obsession with pills and suicidal planning and thoughts?
I have a psychiatrist and I've only seen her twice.. Once in September and once in October.. and I was back in the E.R. two weeks ago after an incident ( I was released within hours ).. and the psychiatrist at the hospital told me to call my psychiatrist and make an appointment.. so it's this Thursday

I have been banned from the pharmacy due to too many suicide attempts since last April.. And I crave the meds, I obsess about them, I want them so badly. I've lied to get prescriptions but no pharmacy will fill them. Nothing. I need her to un ban me and prescribe me meds. I need them. I see a counselor who wants to come with me to make sure I don't lie and get the meds.. I just need to feel numb again.

And I think about death all the time, overdosing, car accident, shooting, hanging, everything. I won't do those, but I think about it so much..

I look fine on the outside, and I don't know how to tell her or what she would do.. Last time she wouldn't give me meds due to my numerous suicide attempts.. but I need them.

What should I do.. and I don't want to go back to the hospital..

I don't want to go see her Thursday and than have her send me to the hospital. I hate hospitals and would lie myself right out of there

Tell her everything! She needs to know everything if she is going to help you. Doctors are trained to help you. I understand that you hate hospitals, but they are there to help you. It might be better if you checked yourself into a mental health ward. They can try you on several different medications in a short time so that you can find the right solution quicker. They can also monitor you more carefully to make sure you don't abuse the meds or try to commit suicide. Also, a mental health ward is probably the only way you are ever going to get medication again. Your doctors know they can't trust you with your medications, but in the mental health ward they make sure you're taking the right dose. You may not like hospitals, but it sounds like it might be the only way you're going to get better.

Just come right out and say it I hate hospitals to I have been ill all my life 22 years I don't want to be there either, so just go to the ER or call 911 if your serious about it,

Would there be no way your psychiatrist could administer any medication by injection or you could take them by going somewhere everyday so they could be sure you have taken them?I had a friend years ago who had a similar problem they refuesed to prescribe him anything but he needed the meds so much to stabalise him he would go into the doctors everyday to take his meds (i know it would be a pain) but after a while he did geniunely start to feel better and eventually was trusted to take them on his own again.I don't really know what else to suggest it's difficult really i hope they can help you to find a way to begin to not feel like this all the time it must be awful.I know hospitals aren't nice i feel the same but sometimes it can be a turning point but it has to be the right time. xxxx

Who are you fooling..you or the Doctor. This sort of obsesstion is very scary and unhealthy. You say you won't carry this out, but who knows if you will. The MD is doing the right thing by banning you from pharmacys and not giving you want you want..pills. You do need to be in a hospital, wherer you like it o not. It is for your own good. They are only trying to protect to from possibly carrying out what you are threating to do. The MD dosen't know if you are serious or not becasue you stated you can talk your way out of anything. He just can't take that chance. He also can put you in the hospital against your will. Do you want that?
