Holding in pain and sadness until you can't let it out?!

Question: Holding in pain and sadness until you can't let it out?
My precious lovely gecko died. Afterwards- he died in my hands on his way to get help- I felt no pain or sorrow. I was basically an emotionless robot. 4 days later and all that's happened is a little- like less than a minute- of tears. I want to cry. I want to let out the pain I'm inadvertently holing in. But I cant... Help me let it out, how do I release my emotions?? (don't say all of this isn't needed. I deeply love animals.)
Please pray for Hugo, the leopard gecko, for him to have a sweet journey to heaven. RIP.

I'm so sorry to hear about your loss :( :(. It's so hard losing pets :(.
Maybe you can write about it. That might make it easier. Even if the writing sounds like total nonsense, it may help.

Crying is an important step in feeling better. This may not make sense now, but in a few weeks you will eventually see that Hugo is up in gecko heaven running around with a young body and looking down at you. We all lose pets, we all mourn. I hope you feel better.

Good luck-
