During social anxiety blood pressure is rising and heart beat frequency may be increased due to adrenaline action. One of the methods is lowering blood pressure ahead of anxiety, for example by drinking beet root juice or meditation. Mood lifting methods like walking/jogging/treadmill help removing anxiety. You did not mention what might cause or trigger your anxiety.

Avoiding caffeine helps a lot, also get a lot of sleep. If you have specific things you get anxious about, try to organize and make those things as easy as possible.

Weird tip, but staying off gluten helps me, along with the caffeine/sleep suggestion.

Anxiety for years



I suffer from generalised anxiety and although I have not found a 'cure' yet I really find that exercise helps me. It is my saviour!!
Also, avoid caffine late at night sticking to herbal tea - it is not very nice but you do get used to the taste.
