What is this guy thinking?!

Question: What is this guy thinking?
I saw a guy friend of mine today but I didn't say hi to him because I have face-blindness and I was wondering if the person in front of me was him so I just kept looking at him and stayed silent. I looked at him because I was trying to recognise him, I wanna say hi to him but I have face blindness and I don't want to recognise the wrong person!
I think I was looking at him with my confused eyes. And my guy friend was looking back at me. So we looked at each other. Then he finally said hi.
LOL.
This entire situation is so awkward.
What is my guy friend thinking? :-/

Answers:

I am happily married and have 3 sons and my experience tells me that he was either thinking absolutely nothing, like total blank, or he was thinking about an X-box game like COD/ how hungry he is and where he can get some food from/ how much trouble he'll be in because he's lost something or another/where he can borrow some money from. Don't waste your time trying to figure out what they're thinking- you'll only be disappointed.

He's your friend, so he likely knows about your "face blindness" thingy. The way you looked at him at that time made him realize that you are confused if he is the real deal or not. So, because he doesn't want you to keep that confused face and/or keep doubting and troubling yourself, he said "Hi!" first so that you will realize that he is truly your friend.

--hope this helps..

Well if he knows about your face-blindness then he should be cool with it unless he's really immature. If he doesn't know you should probably tell him because he'll understand.

Nothing clear

You would have to ask him..
You are in high school aren't you?

nothing.not a big deal
