Easy.

First of all, they are so severely depressed that they require medication, right?
And so, they are depressed to begin with.
And they wish to avoid hospitalization for their depression and so their physician will try them on anti-depression medication first.

And sometimes, the medication is too little, too late. And the patient already has suicidal ideations and plans. And before the medication can build up in his body and have effect, he attempts suicide and ends up in the hospital where he probably should have been in the first place.

And so, this is like asking why some diabetics end up in the hospital in a diabetic coma when they are on insulin and diet? Answer: their condition was too acute and unregulated.

Fear, actually terror. yes what everyone else said. as the depression lifts the ability to set goals and plan actions returns. A therapist will try to harness this ability toward planning for the future and engaging the person inth eexcitement of life. Some are overwhelmed by this new feeling and are terrified that they will slip again into the nightmare.

Others, like my son hate this new feeling and the side effects of the meds and merely self medicate with street drugs. MICA mental illness and drug addiction a dual diagnosis and a spiral into suicide.

This is an unknown still, but antidepressants have some really intense effects on brain chemistry. The chemicals they're made of are among the most toxic of all medications (outside of chemotherapy drugs), consisting largely of fluorine compounds. These are known to accumulate in and "calcify" the pineal gland, which plays a large part in regulating brain chemicals. Most likely, the medications and the brain, and thus the interaction thereof are just not understood well enough to properly prescribe for all patients.

I've been taking anti depressants for about 3/4 weeks now and I've noticed that although my depressive stages are shorter. They are worse. Like I feel REALLY REALLY REALLY down?
Ive no idea why this is or if others feel it but I'm certain that it could be a cause of suicide. Suicide is an on the moment thing that we happen to do. So if lots of people are very low even if for less time it may lead to increased suicide?
Scientifically, Ive NO idea why.

Personal Experiences.

In a state of hopelessness and despair, the pre-suicidal personal is only thinking in vague, chaotic thought. When taking anti-depressants, the thinking is allowed to become more connected and and clear, and the pre-suicidal person can then formulate plans or method to take them out of that chaos...

I think some of those medications can affect the chemicals in the brain that makes them more suicidal, doctors are aware of this and keep a close eye on those patients.

Maybe they start treatment too late

meds dont work
