Question: What should I do now?

I think I have been sexually abused by my dad. I went on a website today that had a list of symptoms of sexual abuse. I could give examples of 10+ of the things on that list. I'm positive it happened and it's corrupted my life. Idk how to tell my mom. She knows something is up because we had a long talk last night. I've felt really different lately. How do I tell somebody? This sucks.

I'm really sorry to hear you think you've been abused. I see you're in the UK so the best thing for you to do is to call ChildLine. Their counsellors will talk to you about what you think and feel and they will go over with you what you can do about this. You do have numerous options available to you but you need to talk it through with them. They truely are wonderful people. I had a regular counsellor there when I was a teen and she helped me through a lot of things.

I know it will be hard but you have to tell your mom or maybe call the police not 911 but just a station. Your father would probably not go to jail. I know this sounds dramatic but you will feel alot better!
