What happens when you get reviewed to see if you can keep getting ssdi?!

Question: What happens when you get reviewed to see if you can keep getting ssdi?
Answers:

First off, keep in mind when you first put in a claim for disability, the burden of proof was on you to prove you are disabled, under their rules. Once you win an award, or favorable decision in appeals, the burden of proof shifts to them. You no longer have to prove you are still disabled. They must now prove you are not. That makes a HUGE difference.

In most all cases, they send you a short form, with 5-10 basic questions. When you send it back, it goes through a automated reader. They will ask like has your condition improved. would you be willing or interested in a work trial.

If you answer any question that may suggest your condition has improved, offer additional information, or put in comments under "additional remarks", the reader will kick it out, and they will send a long form, similar to the ones you had to answer when you first put in the claim. They will also request new updated medical records from your Doctors.

Think of it like you are the defendant in a court trial. Keep the answers simple, do not offer any additional answers or comments, and say nothing you are not asked to say. Keep visiting your Doctors on a regular basis, keep taking your meds, and you will be fine.

They will ask about your medical condition and if there is any improvement, and they'll ask how your condition affects you. They will ask you to bring your medical records from any doctor that is treating you. They'll also want to know if you worked any, what kind of work, and now long you worked.
