What are you're thoughts on death?!

Question: What are you're thoughts on death?
I ask this question to you all, in order to know if you feel the same as I do. My mom almost died once, almost hit before a car. She wasn't lying when she said this, but she said when she almost died all her memories flashed before her eyes and all she could think at that moment of the things she needed to do. Ever since she told me that, I never looked at movies where the people had flashbacks or etc before they died as cheesy again. It could be a real aspect, death could be like that.

Do you think death is a painful, scary thing? Or do you think death will be comforting and go with ease? Are you afraid of dying? Are you acceptant that one day you will pass on?

I am fully aware I won't live forever. No one will, not the one I love and my family or my friends. Even that ***** across the street. I know this is an emotional question, but just answer XD

Thanks. I appreciate you're answers.

if you want to live you should live as much as you possibly can. Enjoy everything you can. If you don't want to live.. find a way out, you shouldn't have to live a painful life.

Death should be avoided at most costs. I am very afraid of dying, hence Im still here. I plan on living forever or until I can't take an independent crap, a fate worse than death. So far so good. Nobody knows whats after death, so I just stick around as long as I can, then whatever happens happens.
I do believe in god, but he did give us survival instincts for a reason.

Breathe in, Breath out, Breath in...

I don't think of dying as something scary. It's just the logical thing that happens after life. You live, then you die, and fear won't change that.

I'm not afraid to die.

I'm a Christian. ^_^

Death and I have been close through out my life. When I was young, my father was always gone, so my mother suggested he was dead to me, and we didn't reunite until I was six. Many members of my family have died from cancers, and my ex girlfriend was depressed and killed herself after an overdose on heroine.
Personally, the idea of death hops around in my mind. On one end, I suppose it would be a peaceful thing to finally pass away, be reunited with those I lost in a heaven, or just not exist, but by human nature we always want to live and enjoy, and so it makes me afraid to think there is no god, or that I might burn in hell.
My ex girlfriend used to say that John Lennon nailed it 'Its just like getting out of one cab, and into another.' Some people believe it is all a dream, or that nothing exists. For me, I suppose I don;t really know.

I don't have a fear of death. I do have a strong faith in god. But I didn't go to god in fear of death. I accepted death beforehand. Obviously, we will all come to pass, so worrying about it will only take away from the already short amount of time we are given. So be thankful for the life you are given. You are the only one that is you....

death can be painful or peaceful depending on how you go out. And with what happened to your mother is something most of us take for granted. Not the accident.... but with the door that was opened when it happened. Most of do not realize what we have until it is gone..... Point is, if you feel like you have something you want to do, and it follows a righteous path, go for it. The best thing that could happen to me in this life is to be remembered for something great after my death. And the best thing that can happen to me in death is to pass through gods hands and be favored.
