Can I have paranoid schizophrenia at seventeen?!

My brother has it and was diagnosed at 14. He just flipped out one day saying that everyone was out to get him! So yeah I would say so. Be careful though, it can get real scary!

It can start at any age. But if you aren't seeing things or having delusions I wouldn't worry. I have schiz too. It's not genetic in my case. No one in my family past or present had it.

The symptoms often start appearign at that age, its very likely you could. You should defiinitely talk to a doctor, beter safe than sorry!

My mother has the same thing, there really isnt much you can do if you have early signs just try your best to recognize it and seek our medical help.
