Does my friend have bipolar or a mental health disorder?!

Question: Does my friend have bipolar or a mental health disorder?
I'm worried my friend might have a mental health disorder...
i've noticed at college for a while now that she goes off on random moods at me and our friends and snaps at us. She had that argument with her mum the other week and she even punched her wardrobe afterwards. But after the argument she was like 'i don't even no y i had a go at her' then she bought her some flowers to make up for it...But me and our friend moved in to her house on monday as her parents were on holiday and it was all alright, but tuesday, well we were all getting ready to go out, and she was gettin abnormally angry at the fact that she dint no wot 2 wear and her make up weren't goin right. Anyway me and my friend was waitin 4 her 2 get ready and then she put her coat on and got her bag and went downstairs so we followed her downstairs and we asked if she was ok, and she said 'going out by myself, don't wanna bore anyone draggin u out i'm going by myself.' Then she left me and our friend in the house by ourselves! then 5 mins later she comes back just walks past us and goes upstairs. So we follow her again and i asked what was goin on and she said 'missed the bus dint i so i came back, 'o you think i'm borin don't ya and y can't i dress nice everyone else gets to dress nice y do u get 2 say wot i can and can't wear?' And i managed 2 get her outta the mood after a bit and she felt bad for doing it and said 'it's gonna b all awkward now i'm really sorry guys blah blah blah' and we was like its alright mate and the rest of tuesday was fine. But on the way back home tuesday night she snapped her bus card but we was all laughin bout it. Anyway we decided to go cinema wednesday, so wednesday we were gettin ready 2 go cinema and whilst i was in the shower she dropped her lunch on the floor apparently, and wen she told me i laughed. Then i did my make up and went to do my hair. then all of a sudden she was like 'i'm not goin out 2day.' and it was awkward, no one was sayin anythin 2 eachother. so i said that i could lend her the money 4 the bus so she didn't have to worrya bout her bus card. she snapped again and said no. Then she walked out the room and then she came back and we asked what was going on and she said she was stayin at my dads and said 'u guys don't even give a **** about me u treat me like **** and my house like ****, u laugh wen i dropped my sandwich on the floor,, u think i'm boring.' and none of them things r true, i even hoovered her house the night b4 and she's my best friend. and she told us, 'you can get out i need my space' and we asked ''well y did u invite us over 4 then?' nd she said 'dunno i won't be inviting u guys again we won't even be talkin after this will we so'. Then she went downstairs whilst me and my friend packed and we had 2 get a taxi home. Then whilst we was waitin for the taxi she went upstairs slammed the door and put her music on...

It's really odd i don't understand why she snapped at us and had these outbursts of anger. I'm worried about her what should i do?

Answers:

That isn;t Bipolar.... sounds a lot like Borderline Personality Disorder though.... Bipolar moods last for weeks or months and only change 2 or 3 times a year... and they are much more severe than that... Borderline moods change like the wind... also common with borderline is when someone likes you one minute then hates you the next then loves you the next.....

bipolar disorder *is* a mental health disorder...

anyways, bipolar disorder is characterised by episodes of depression *and* mania (highs). These episodes last longer than the length of one argument, so I really doubt it's that.

Do you go to college with her? I know campuses usually have a health center with a councillor, you could try asking him/her for advice because your friend really needs help.
